At our September meeting we will be hosting a Rain Gutter
Regatta. The boys were given a kit at Graduation, if you
missed Graduation please contact Brendan Bannon to get
your kits and Graduation stuff.
We are going to keep this one simple so creativity can flow.
The rules in the kit say there is no cutting, but as long as you
stay in the measurements you can do what you like
The actual race will be divided into rank categories: Tiger,
Wolf, Bear, and Webelos. Each rank group will first race
each other. The race will involve sets of two rain gutters on
saw horses. Once we get down to the winner of each den,
we will have races for the Grand champ!
In addition to the racing we will be voting on the most
creative

- No Motors, lung power only
- You can only touch the boat if it tips over.
- Boats should be 7 inches long
- Boats must be less than 4 inches wide, you will not fit in
the gutter if the boat is fatter than that! - You can only use the sail that is provided.
