Cub Scout Pack 46

Wow!  June disappeared almost as fast as my little red rocket last night.
Graduation was lots of fun with kick ball and the moose trap mine field.

I still want to know who the Tiger was that tried to get me to step on a mine!

Last night was our first Rocket Night of the year and it was a real BLAST.  We had
about a dozen launch pads and tons of rockets ranging in size from the 4 inch red
rocket I lost to Mr. Marshall’s 3 foot big black rocket.  The Dunhams had the
coolest looking rockets and also had the most technical difficulties.

I think the Bannons won the prize for most rockets lost or damaged.
 We started
with 4 and went home with 1 working, 1 broken, 1 missing the parachute and cone,
and one lost forever.  A little work in the shop and at the store and we will be back
better than ever at the next Rocket Night.

We have 3 events planned for the Month of July.

July 19 is the PawSox Sleep over.  I sent in the names I got from Graduation.  If
anyone else wants to go there is a form under the FORM button on this site for
sign up.  The Clinic is at 2:00 and the game starts at 6:05.

July 26 is the Marshall pool party and sleepover.  Show up any time after 2.
Please bring your own dinner supplies.

July 30 is our next Rocket Night.  First launch is at 6:30.  Based on the turn out
last night we have tons of launch pads and rockets, so even if you don’t have a
rocket you should still come have a look.  I think most of the boys will tell you the
best part is chasing the rockets.

I hope everyone has a great summer.  Don’t forget about your Rain Gutter Regatta
Boats.  We will be racing them at our first Pack Meeting Sept 26.  If you did not get
a boat at graduations please let me know and I will get one to you.  New Tigers that
means you!
